A heat pump installation is not just a machine dropped in a garden: it is a sequence of coordinated operations — refrigerant, hydraulic and electrical — carried out in the right order.
Before any work, a technician measures the heat loss, the location of the units and the state of the existing system. It is this survey that sizes the heat pump and the equipment.
Floor protection, removal of the old equipment if needed, preparation of the outdoor unit support and of the duct runs. The ground is ready before fitting.
Fixing the outdoor unit on anti-vibration feet or a bracket, and installing the indoor (hydraulic) module at the defined spot, accessible for servicing.
Linking the heat pump to the heating circuit and, where relevant, to the domestic hot water tank. Filling, bleeding and leak-tightness check of the network.
Dedicated supply from the panel, suitable protection and wiring of the control. Everything is brought up to standard and secured before switching on.
Vacuuming of the refrigerant circuit, setting of the heating curve, the setpoints and the time slots, then operating tests in heating and hot water mode.
A technician comes out, measures the heat loss and validates the location of the units. This free survey locks in the sizing and the equipment: it is what guarantees a well-matched heat pump.
We set a fitting date together and order the equipment. You receive a clear schedule and the list of what to prepare on the home side before the day.
In one to two days, the team fits the units, makes the hydraulic and electrical connections and tidies the place up. You stay informed of progress at every step.

On-site fitting usually takes one to two days, depending on the home layout and the type of heat pump. More complex jobs — difficult duct runs, removal of an old boiler, reworking the heating circuit — may need an extra day. The precise duration is given to you after the technical survey.
The heating is only interrupted for the time of the connections, generally for part of a day. We preferably schedule installations outside the coldest period and organise the job to limit the cut-off. At commissioning, the heating is back up and running the same day.
It depends on what is already there. Some installations require a support for the outdoor unit, drilling a wall for the links, an adaptation of the electrical panel or the addition of a tank. These points are identified during the technical survey and priced in advance: no nasty surprises on fitting day.
After commissioning, we set the control and explain day-to-day operation to you. You then benefit from follow-up: an annual service preserves efficiency and the warranty, and we stay reachable to adjust the settings during the first weeks of heating.
