Rénopack 2026 — amounts by bracket and type of heat pump works
The Rénopack loan is granted by the SWCS based on three income brackets. The rate is 0% for brackets I and II; a reduced rate applies for bracket III. The maximum repayment term ranges from 15 to 30 years depending on the bracket and amount. Amounts incl. VAT, subject to the file being accepted.

What determines access to the Rénopack loan
The Rénopack loan is not automatic: five main conditions determine your bracket, the amount and the acceptance of your SWCS file.
- Household income
The bracket (I, II or III) is set according to the household net taxable income, indexed annually by the SWCS. The lower your income, the higher the borrowable amount and the more favourable the rate. The thresholds are published each year on the SWCS website.
- Home located in Wallonia
The property concerned must be located in the Walloon Region. The Rénopack does not apply to properties in Brussels or Flanders. The home must be a main residence, occupied or intended to be within the year following the works.
- Registered contractor and prior quote
The works must be carried out by a registered contractor holding an active Belgian VAT number. A detailed quote must be attached to the loan application file before any work starts. At wendows, our partner installers meet these requirements.
- Prior energy audit for large amounts
For loan applications above a certain threshold or as part of a full renovation, an EPB energy audit carried out by an approved auditor is mandatory. It validates that the works correspond to a sufficient energy performance level.

The maximum repayment term depends on the bracket and amount: 30 years for Cat. I, 20 years for Cat. II, 15 years for Cat. III. The monthly payment is set when the file is opened and stays stable over the full term for the 0%-rate brackets.
