Expect roughly €8,000 to €15,000 installed for an air-to-water heat pump, €4,500 to €8,000 for an air-to-air one and €15,000 to €25,000 for geothermal. These amounts are before grant: in Wallonia, the grant reaches €4,000 for an air-to-water unit, and up to €4,500 in Brussels. Our quote shows the remaining cost net of grant.
Air-to-water replaces a boiler and feeds radiators and underfloor heating: it is the most common choice in renovation. Air-to-air heats by blowing air and can cool in summer. Geothermal offers the best efficiency but requires drilling and a higher budget. The thermal assessment decides according to your home.
The grant is conditional in particular on replacing fossil heating and on using a qualified installer. We put together the file and deduct the amount directly from the quote when possible, so that you know your remaining cost from the start.
Yes, for a home over ten years old, the reduced VAT of 6% applies to the labour and the supplies of the installation. It is an immediate relief applied to the quote, on top of the regional grant.
