Turnkey solar kit: panels, inverter and installation — all included

A solar kit is the complete installation sized for your consumption: panels, inverter, wiring, roof mounting and commissioning by our teams. You plug in, you produce. The rest — paperwork, incentives, grid connection — we handle it.

What’s in a kit

What does a wendows solar kit include?

A kit is a coherent set sized for your roof and your consumption. Every element counts.

  • Panels
    Mono N-type

Latest-generation monocrystalline panels (400–430 Wp), black, high efficiency. The number is calculated from your annual consumption and the available surface.

  • Inverter
    String or micro

String (central) inverter for simple roofs, micro-inverters for complex or shaded configurations. We pick the one best suited to your roof.

  • Mounting
    Custom-fit

Mounting system tailored to your roof covering: tiles, slate, flat roof (ballasted), zinc or EPDM. No leaks, guaranteed.

  • Wiring & protection
    Up to code

Solar cables, connectors, breakers and earthing compliant with the RGIE. Compliance check included.

  • Monitoring
    App included

Real-time production tracking via the manufacturer’s app. You see what your panels produce, consume and inject.

  • Paperwork
    We manage it

DSO declaration, incentive applications, meter connection: we take care of the administrative steps for you.

Solar kit: benefits & limits

Solar isn’t for every roof. Here, honestly, is when a kit pays off and when it’s worth thinking twice.

Where it shines

  • Pays off in 5–7 yearsOnce amortised, the electricity produced is free for 20 years and more.
  • All-inclusive, no surprisesHardware, installation, paperwork and incentives handled by a single point of contact.
  • Protection against rising pricesEvery kWh produced is a kWh not bought at the grid tariff.
  • ScalableYou can add a battery or extra panels later on.

What you should know

  • Upfront investmentEven with incentives, you need to put up the capital — financing available.
  • Roof to checkA north orientation, dense shading or a roof in poor condition can limit the payback.
  • Prosumer tariff in WalloniaThe prosumer tariff reduces the gain on injection; self-consumption offsets it.
  • Seasonal productionMore production in summer than in winter — a battery smooths the difference.
For which profile

Is a solar kit right for you?

Solar is worthwhile for the majority of Belgian households. A few profiles where it shines especially:

  • Family with high consumption

    Family with high consumption

The more you consume, the more worthwhile solar is. A family of 4 using 4,000–6,000 kWh/year quickly pays off a 5–8 kWp kit.

  • Electric vehicle

    Electric vehicle

An EV raises your consumption by 2,000–3,000 kWh/year. Solar offsets it and a smart charger tops up with the surplus.

  • Heat pump

    Heat pump

A heat pump uses electricity. Pairing panels and a heat pump cuts your overall energy bill and maximises self-consumption.

With or without a battery?

A kit without a battery is simpler and more cost-effective to start with. Add a battery later if your consumption profile justifies it (evening use, prosumer tariff). We size both together.

A 6 kWp kit installed in a day, paid off in 6 years

A family of 4 using 5,200 kWh/year. We installed a 6 kWp kit (14 N-type panels + string inverter) on their south-facing roof in a single day. After incentives and 6% VAT, the return on investment is calculated at 6 years. After that, 20 years of near-free electricity.

Solar kit FAQ

Your questions about solar kits

What size of kit do I need? +

We size it to your annual consumption. For an average Belgian household (~4,000 kWh/year), a 4–6 kWp kit is enough. With an EV or a heat pump, we go up to 8–12 kWp. The precise calculation is done at the survey.

How long does the installation take? +

A standard residential kit is installed in a day. Complex configurations (flat roof, multi-pitch) can take two days. No structural work and no nuisance for the neighbours.

Is the kit worthwhile with the prosumer tariff? +

Yes. The prosumer tariff reduces the gain on grid injection, but self-consumption (using what you produce) remains very worthwhile. We optimise the sizing to maximise self-consumption.

Can I add a battery later? +

Absolutely. The standard kit works without a battery. If your profile changes (EV, evening use, prosumer tariff), we add a battery and a hybrid inverter at any time.

Who handles the administrative steps? +

We do. Declaration to the grid operator, incentive application, RGIE compliance check — it’s all included in the kit. All you have to do is sign.

What warranty applies to a solar kit? +

Panel warranty: 25–30 years (linear production). Inverter warranty: 10–25 years depending on the model. Installation warranty: 10 years. The hardware is covered, the production is guaranteed.
