Five trades, one coordinated project

Each family answers a precise need in your renovation. Here are the main Wendows categories and the key pointer for each. Click below to open the full guide for each product.

  • Windows & joinery
    PVC · aluminium · wood

Custom windows, doors, sliders and glazing. PVC for the best insulation/price ratio, aluminium for large bays, wood-aluminium for the premium end. The historic core of the trade, fitted across Belgium.

  • Solar panels
    up to 70%

Photovoltaic production to cover up to 70% of your electricity consumption. Sized to your roof and your usage, inverter and monitoring included. The brick that brings the bill down for good.

  • Storage batteries
    +30% self-use

Store the solar surplus produced during the day to use it in the evening. A well-sized battery sharply increases self-consumption and independence from rising electricity prices.

  • Heat pumps
    COP 3 to 5

Heating and hot water by aerothermics: air-to-air, air-to-water or for pools. A heat pump returns 3 to 5 times the energy it consumes — the decarbonised alternative to oil and gas.

  • Insulation
    up to 35% grant

Roof, walls, floors: insulation is the first source of savings, to tackle before heating. Work that qualifies, depending on your region and income, for grants of up to 35% of the amount.

  • Related solutions
    charger & control

EV charging point, smart energy management, inverters and equipment: the bricks that connect solar, battery and mobility in a coherent ecosystem.

* Indicative pointers specific to each family. Exact performance, grants and budgets depend on your home and your region — specified during the free quote.

Pros & cons of the one-stop shop

Entrusting your whole renovation to a single player has real strengths, and a few cases where separate tradespeople still make sense. Here, honestly, is what to weigh up.

Where it excels

  • A single point of contactOne quote, one contract, one person responsible for the project across all trades.
  • Coordinated workWindows, solar and insulation follow in the right order, with no gaps or rework between trades.
  • Grants & VAT handledWe assemble the full file and combine the eligible aid on your behalf.
  • Energy coherenceThe project is thought through as a whole: insulate before heating, produce before storing.

What you should know

  • Less relevant for a micro-jobFor a single small isolated repair, a local tradesperson may be enough.
  • A schedule to setCoordinating several trades means booking a slightly wider project window.
  • Not the cheapest item by itemOn a single lot taken alone, a lone specialist can sometimes be marginally cheaper.
  • The right scope is defined togetherNot everything always needs doing at once: we prioritise according to your budget and home.
For which project

Which project profile is yours?

Depending on the scale of your work, the range is not approached the same way. Three scenarios to place yourself:

  • Full energy renovation

    Full energy renovation

You want to cut your bills and the home’s carbon footprint sharply: we combine insulation, high-performance windows, a heat pump and solar in a coordinated, grant-backed plan.

  • New build

    New build

For a new home, everything is planned from the outset: high-performance joinery, a heat pump, photovoltaics and a battery to aim for near-zero energy from handover.

  • Targeted replacement

    Targeted replacement

A specific need — changing windows, fitting panels or a charging point: we work on the lot you want, cleanly, without forcing the rest of the project on you.

Not sure where to start?

The golden rule: insulate before heating, produce before storing. Start with insulation and high-performance windows, then add a heat pump and solar. When in doubt, ask for a free overall quote: we prioritise for you.

Case study · full renovation, Gembloux

A house taken from oil to near-zero energy in a single project

A 1974 house heated with oil, poorly insulated and fitted with single glazing. In one coordinated project, wendows insulated the roof and walls, replaced every window with triple glazing, installed an air-to-water heat pump and 14 solar panels. One quote, one point of contact, every grant assembled by our teams.

One-stop shop, separate tradespeople or DIY?

Indicative benchmarks. For a very simple single-lot project, a lone tradesperson stays relevant; as soon as several trades or grants are involved, the one-stop shop saves time and money.

Product range FAQ

Your questions on our range

What products does Wendows offer? +

Five main families: windows and joinery (windows, doors, sliders, glazing), solar panels, storage batteries, heat pumps (air-to-air, air-to-water, pool) and insulation (roof, walls, floors). Added to these are related solutions such as charging points and energy management. Each family has its full guide, accessible from this page.

Why go through a one-stop shop rather than several tradespeople? +

Because an energy renovation benefits from being planned and coordinated as a whole. With a single point of contact, you have one quote, one project lead, a single warranty and a grant file assembled for you. The lots follow in the right order — insulate before heating, produce before storing — with no rework between trades.

Can grants be combined across the different products? +

Yes, in most cases. Insulation, high-performance windows, a heat pump and solar qualify, depending on your region and income, for distinct grants that combine, on top of 6% VAT for homes over ten years old. We identify and assemble all the aid eligible for your project.

What warranty covers the whole project? +

You benefit from a single warranty covering all the work carried out by our teams, supplies and fitting included. For any question or after-sales, one point of contact takes charge, whatever the trade concerned — no passing the buck between tradespeople.

What are the lead times for a multi-product project? +

The detailed quote is delivered within 48h after the survey. Project lead times then depend on the supplies (custom windows take a few weeks of fabrication) and the scale of the lots. On an overall project, we schedule the work in a logical order to limit the total time the home is occupied.

Do you cover all of Belgium? +

Yes, our teams work across all of Belgium — Wallonia, Brussels and Flanders. As grants are regional, we adapt the aid file to your region and handle the corresponding paperwork for each product installed.
